The Royal Armouries Museum
The Royal Armouries Museum is one of the worlds oldest museums, in fact it’s the oldest museum in the UK
with one of the largest Arms, Armour, Artillery, and firearms collections in the world.
The Museum boasts over 8,500 pieces which are on display across 5 galleries sorted into different
sections such as Oriental, Self Defence, Hunting, War and Tournament.
The Royal Armouries Museum is open Monday to Sunday 10am till 5pm which is perfect if you have airport parking at Leeds Bradford as it is only 22 minutes away by car.
The museum has eating and refreshment facilities throughout, the Nelson Bistro is located on the ground floor and a coffee shop is on floor 2.
