Over 18 Millions passengers went through the Terminals at Stansted Airport in 2010, which makes this Airport the 3rd busiest in the United Kingdom. Stansted Airport is also the first Airport to hold 3 prestigious Environmental Awards for reducing carbon emissions from buildings and vehicles.

The Airport is located near Stansted Mountfitchet which is a small village with a population of 5,532 persons. In 2009 there was 182,810 Aircraft Movements at Stansted, now thats one serious Airport!

Car parking should be the least of your worries at Stansted Airport with a multi choice of long stay and short stay located both on and off the Airport, theres something for everyone.

Destinations
Currently used by 41 airlines, Stansted airport is the departure point for locations nearly all over the world, from the UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe, to many parts of Asia. Some destinations are seasonal only (available during the summer or winter), presumably in concordance with demand.

Parking
A number of options are available if you wish to park your car on the airport?s grounds. They are classed according to the required duration, into short-stay parking, mid-stay parking, long-stay parking (three days or longer) and valet parking (which is by far the most convenient long term option yet much more expensive).

Airport structure
Stansted uses one main terminal for all its national and international flights. There are separate areas for national and international arrivals; there is also a chapel and an information desk. The Departures Lounge, Domestic Arrivals and International Arrivals areas are all situated on the ground floor. Akin to every airport, it provides currency exschange facilities, a restaurant, car hire services and a first aid area.

Executive lounges
If you prefer utter quietness to the perpetually loud atmosphere dominating the airport, you can choose to wait for your flight at one of Stansted?s two executive lounges, which provide utmost comfort and tranquility.

If you require assistance at the airport ISS are the provider for this service you can contact them at stn.prm@uk.issworld.com or contact stansted airport help desk

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is the only Airport in Scotland that is connected to a rail service directly from Glasgow Central Station. Nearly 2 million peopled traveled through the Airport from incoming and outgoing flights. The Airport has a runway 1,829 meters long, big enough to accommodate any commercial Aircraft, which is great news for local residents as there is no need for expansion.

In 1952 Glasgow Prestwick was used by the United States Air Force as a military base, and still today the Royal Navy and HMS Gannet have a presence at part of the Airport.

If theres any Elvis Presley fans reading this, you might want to make Glasgow Prestwick your Airport of choice, apparently Elvis Presley set foot here in the 1960′s.

Why choose Parkat for Prestwick airport parking?

Parkat Airport Parking offers one of the widest range of car parking choices at Prestwick airport. We compare real time Prestwick parking prices from multiple Prestwick airport parking companies to provide you with some of the cheapest car parking.

Long Stay Prestwick Airport Parking Recomendations

If you’re trip or holiday is longer than a couple of days we recommend the prestwick airport long stay car parking option. Choosing the long stay option and pre booking with us can save you a fortune compared to on the day prices. The long stay car park is located on Prestwick airport and is a short walking distance to the main terminal which is ideal if you don’t want to wait for transfer buses.

Prestwick Airport Short Stay Car Parking Choices

Due to Prestwick airport being a small and independent we don’t have much choice when it comes to short stay parking, the only two short stay options we have are located 2 miles of the Airport, but don’t worry a free shuttle bus is provided, these two car parks are also secured with patrols, cctv and both hold the Park Mark Award.

Telephone our information desk on +44 (0) 871 223 0700 ext 4434 for further details.

More than 100 airlines operate at the airport flying to 220 international destinations, more than any other UK airport.

During 2009 Manchester airport won one of the most notable aviation industry awards, “UK Airport of the year” this was awarded by the British Travel awards,
this was one of many awards the Airport has won in 2010.

Top Tips For Manchester Airport Parking

Know before you go: It’s always worth scoping out the car park before traveling. With our handy car park pages you can view the car park site with street view and google maps before you arrive.

Vehicle Restrictions Make sure you check the car park vehicle restrictions, your car might be to big for a normal car parking space or trailers might not be allowed.

Bring Paperwork: If you’ve got access to a printer, make sure you print out the booking reference as you may need this to enter the car park.

Good Time Keeping: Try to make sure your not late if your using an Off-Airport service, remember if the car park is located some distance from the airport the shuttle bus could take some time.

Which Meet and Greet car parking service do we recommend?

If you want to take the hassle out of car parking then we think the Meteor Meet & Greet service is an option you will simply love. Upon arrival a chauffeur will meet you at the Terminal building or a desired location then safely drive your vehicle back to a secure car parking site located a short distance from Manchester Airport. When returning from your flight a chauffeur will meet you at an agreed location, usually in front of the terminal building with your car, it cant get any simpler! Look out for this option when you search for a quote on Parkat, it’s one of our most popular options.

The Meteor Meet & Greet service car park site holds the Safer Parking Award also known as the Park Mark Award which will give you that extra piece of mind knowing that your car is extra secure while you are holidaying.

Which Manchester Airport Park and Ride service do we recommend?

One of our favourite park and ride services at Manchester Airport is operated by APH, the car park site is situated around 3 miles from the Airport, but don’t worry APH runs a regular shuttle bus which takes around 15 minutes to transfer you to and from the Airport. the shuttle transfer service runs frequently every 5 minutes and takes you directly to the Airport terminal.

The car park site is highly secure with regular 24 hour security patrols, CCTV and much much more, the site also has disabled toilets.

What service do we recommend for Disabled Customers?

When preforming a search for Airport parking, we list important security features about each car park, look out for car parks which have disabled facilities, they will be more friendly for wheel chair users who require ramps and other special access.

Official Manchester airport Long Stay and Manchester airport Short Stay car parking

Manchester Airport has an official On-Airport Short and Long Stay car parking option which is highly secure and located very closed to the terminal building, it is also within walking distance to the terminal but a free transfer shuttle bus is avaliable which takes around 5 minutes. Short stay and Long stay operate at the following Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

Manchester Airport Lounges, a little bit of luxury! to combine with cheap airport parking

Manchester Airport is one of the busiest Airports in the world with 3 different Terminals it can get rather busy and stressful, why not put up your feet and read the latest news or catch a quick bite to eat in one of the relaxing lounges at the Airport, don?t worry they aren’t that expensive, for under £10 you could get access with a wide range of free services.

Which ever Manchester airport parking provider you choose we are always here to help, so drop us an email if you are struggling to choose a car park.

Disabled Blue Badge Parking

Disabled passengers flying through manchester airport have several car parking options to choose from where they can use the blue badge.

Multi-Storey parking has placed the disabled bays next to the lift which makes it easier for travellers using wheelchairs. Short term parking also has lifts next to the disabled parking bays

The other off-airport car parks we compare don’t all have disabled facilities so make sure you check each one carefully .

Manchester Airport accommodates disabled travellers and persons with reduced mobility, hopefully making the journey a positive experience with no problems. Please check the following information below which you may find useful before arriving at the Airport.

Help at the Car Park

Passengers who need help from the car park, will need to contact the car parking company prior to arriving so the staff will be ready to help. The majority of the car parks have special disabled spaces.

Before Arriving

If you require help getting onto the aircraft you must discuss this with your travel agent or the airline before arriving so the correct support will be ready in time.

Help at the Airport

We make searching for Liverpool airport car parking simple and easy, we don’t add a penny to your quotes. We compare every official and secure parking at the airport and we guarantee you’ll find something which suits your travel requirements.

Official short stay Liverpool car parking options are located facing the terminal building and long stay car parking facilities are located minutes away from Liverpool airport.

Liverpool airport was named after the Liverpudlian Beatles star John Lennon and is now officially named Liverpool John Lennon airport. Although the airport is only small and consists of one main terminal, it’s one of the fastest growing airports in Europe with around 5 million passengers flying to and from the airport in 2010 alone, making Liverpool John Lennon the tenth busiest in the UK.

In World War II the airport was used by the Royal Airforce to proceed Bombers, going by the name RAF Speke. The notable P-51 Mustang was manufactured at this shadow factory.

If you require a long stay car parking service we recommend the on airport long stay option which his located facing the terminal building. Passengers looking for parking on a budget will find In2 outdoor is slightly cheaper than the other options.

You may require something more luxurious such as a chauffeur parking which is also called meet and greet. We also cater for this please look out for the meet & grey signs.

What car parking services do you recommend at Liverpool John Lennon?

The Official long stay and short stay car parking provided by John Lennon Airport is a car parking service which we highly recommend to any customers looking for great accessible parking.

The car park is located directly facing the Terminal building which makes this option great for persons who only want to walk a short distance as shuttle bus service is not provided. The car park site has some excellent security features and the car park is patrolled, it has also been awarded the Park Mark Award, so when your sipping a mojito on the beach, the last thing you will be worrying about is your vehicle security.

What about meet and greet and services?

If you want to take the effort out of parking then a meet and greet service is a luxury which we highly recommend for anyone with a budget to splash out. The two Liverpool Meet and greet services which stand out at Liverpool are SkyPark meet & greet and LCS Meet and Greet Parking, both car parks will send a chauffeur to meet you at a chosen location where you will hand over the keys so they can park your car back at the site, then return your can on arrival when you have passed through John Lennon Airport.

Top tips for Liverpool Airport Parking

If you have never used an car parking service at the Airport take a look at our top tips!
Make sure you arrive at the car park early, remember you will need to park your car if you have chosen a park and ride service, then be transferred to the Airport, you don’t want to miss your flight!

Relaxing in style at Liverpool Airport

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is a fairly small Airport, but if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle when it gets busy and maybe chill with a beer or a free news paper then an Airport lounge is something which you may consider to take the weight of your shoulders before a long flight from John Lennon Airport.

According to the Liverpool John Lennon Airport website the airport welcomes disabled passengers and has made efforts to maximise the ease of access of the premises.

Disabled Car Parking
Car parks located on the airport site are equipped with accessible parking bays for disabled persons with blue and orange bags. The disabled bays are located closer to the terminal and near to help points if you require to call of assistance.

The BAA owned Airport is officially the largest Airport in the United Kingdom and manages more passengers than any other Airport in the World. It is one gigantic airport with 5 terminals, 77,000 staff maintaining services and more than 88 airlines operating there. Heathrow is currently serving more than 185 worldwide destinations including Hong Kong, New York and Dubai.

With literally thousands of car parking spaces located on and off the Airport whether it’s sort stay parking or long stay parking which you require you won’t be short of a space at Heathrow.

You might think car parking at Heathrow Airport is something of an art to master, being one of the busiest Airports in the world, the place can get kind of hectic, that’s why we have selected some of our favourite meet & greet and park ride parking services running at Heathrow Airport.
Our Favourite Long Stay car parking options at Heathrow Airport

When it comes to Long Stay parking you cant go wrong with the official on Airport parking which is run by Heathrow Airport. The plus points to choose one of these long stay car parks is that you wont be to far from the terminal buildings, so the shuttle bus transfer service wont take to long. The official on-Airport parking operates at Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.
All of the on-Airport parking car parks are highly secure with crime reducing security features such as CCTV, Fencing, 24 hour patrols and Flood Lighting. You will also be pleased to know most of the long stay car park sites have been awarded the Park Mark Award by a police officer, which certifies that the car park has crime reducing measures in place.

Heathrow Airport Parking Tops Tips

Heathrow is a very busy Airport, make sure you arrive at the car park within good time, remember if you have chosen an off Airport car parking service you will
have to take the shuttle bus which will also take extra time.

Don’t forget your booking confirmation, you will need to present this to the car park office, print it off and keep it safe.
Short Stay Parking And Drop Off at Heathrow Airport

Short term parking is available at all of the terminals at Heathrow, these are great car parking options if you want to give someone a proper good bye, you might want to catch a bite to eat or relax in one of the coffee shop before waving good bye. Short term parking is charge by the hour so be care full to not go over it could be costly
If your just dropping someone of follow signs to the departures and use the outside lanes these are used for drop of parking, if you are picking up you will have to use the short stay parking options are you will be clogging up the roads and peoples flights may be delayed causing more traffic that necessary.

Destinations
Heathrow is known as one of the busiest airports in the UK, with over 180 destinations being reached worldwide, including very distant locations such as New Zealand, Australia, South America and the USA. It is used by more than 90 airlines and is renowned for its efficient organisation and amenities.

Parking
Four parking options are available at Heathrow ? short-stay parking, long-stay parking, business parking and valet parking. Whilst the last two, which are upgraded versions of long-stay parking, are considerably more expensive, they are more convenient in terms of expediency.

Airport structure
Heathrow has no less than five terminals, the first three being situated towards its centre, with the fourth one to the south and the fifth one to the west. Many facilities are present onsite, from well equipped children?s play areas to first aid and cash exchange services. For spiritual needs, St George?s Chapel provides a variety of religious services for different faiths and confessions. There are also other prayer rooms located near each terminal.

Executive lounges
Available at all terminals, the five executive lounges vary in comprehensiveness, in terms of the facilities and services they offer. Some of them offer the option of pre-booking, regardless of the class you selected for your flight, which is an affordable alternative for many passengers.

For special assistance at the airport please phone the help desk to arrange before arriving. Help points are located throughout the Airport if you need to phone for help.
